Team K Realty was started by Michael Krasilovsky, who, like many real estate professionals, actually used to be a classroom school teacher.
You see, in 2008, Michael moved across the country after reading about Corvallis, Oregon, in a magazine. He was a middle school science teacher. Do you remember the economy in 2008? Yep… Michael was promptly laid off after moving to Oregon. His wife began reading books about personal finance while they applied for jobs around the world, and they ended up getting into real estate investing with the late, local legend, Ann Morgan as their real estate agent. A couple of investment properties later, Michael started in real estate in the same brokerage with Ann as his mentor to help others accomplish their goals in real estate.
The “teacher’s heart” is clearly evident in what we do, and we pride ourselves in providing active education so that our clients can reach their home and financial goals while building a community around the business. We love being ambassadors for both Oregon living and homeownership!
The team now includes five people and continues to grow. Michael is like the orchestra conductor of the team, and remains involved with our client consultations, works with our sellers, writes books and developing training systems for people interested in investing in rental properties, or becoming real estate professionals. If you’re impressed by accolades, Michael is a recipient of RE/MAX’s Lifetime Achievement Award, Hall of Fame Award, and is an Accredited Buyer’s Representative, Accredited Commercial Professional, Pricing Strategy Advisor, and Master Certified Negotiation Expert.
We are proud to have Noelle Moen, who has been working with the team since 2021 as a fellow licensed broker alongside Michael. If Michael is the orchestra conductor, then Noelle is the principal violinist. Noelle does client consultations, shows homes, writes contracts, and negotiates on behalf of our buyers. Our buyers love working with Noelle and Michael. The two have excellent synergy, even if the amount of puns and word play in the office can exceed OSHA thresholds from time to time. Noelle’s got great accolades, too, because real estate agents love having letters behind their names. Noelle is a consistent recipient of RE/MAX’s 100% Club Award, and is an Accredited Buyer’s Representative and Real Estate Negotiation Expert. Stay tuned for much more “alphabet soup” to come on Noelle’s business card. She’s currently working on her Principal Broker’s license and her Residential Remodeling Specialist designation. Noelle enjoys talking about birding, botany, rugby, and greyhound ownership (the canines, not the busses).
Behind the scenes, we have a great crew providing administrative support:
Cody Thomas joined Team K in 2019 doing transaction coordination and is now the listing coordinator and video editor for the team. He graduated from Oregon State in 2015 with a degree in Mathematics. When he is not busy at work he enjoys playing basketball at Timberhill, reading Michael Parenti, playing pool with friends, playing with his cats Shadow and Ava, doing yoga, hiking, and spending time with family. Do you enjoy the video content the team creates? Cody is the one spending tireless hours behind the scenes to actually make it look good. Give him a hearty high five when you meet him at our client appreciation parties.
Taylor Wells has been with Team K since 2022. She is our transaction coordinator aka our “paperwork and logistics virtuoso”and comes to us with an escrow background. She assists with paperwork and logistics and helps keep our transactions running smoothly. In her spare time, she enjoys being outdoors, gardening, and watching football! Taylor and her husband are now proud parents of a happy and healthy little one that we expect to join the team once she’s old enough to negotiate contracts.
Kelly Widener worked on the team as the original admin support and transaction coordinator with Michael “back in the day”, when the two shared an office the size of a broom closet and utilized strategically small desk chairs. Kelly has served as an admin assistant, transaction coordinator, and office manager for the team, and actually started her own consulting business so she could have an easier time visiting her amazing grandkiddos in Florida. She still helps the team in this capacity and assists with closing files, social media and web development, and admin support and even planning. Ask her about all the best hiking spots and why Oregon has become her paradise for her and her pup to explore on weekends.
“Mission Control” for Team K Realty is in Corvallis, the heart of the Mid Willamette Valley, and most of our local clients are in Corvallis, Albany, Philomath, Lebanon, and the surrounding areas of Benton and Linn counties. That being said, we are expanding, and have very close ties with real estate agents all over Oregon that function as extensions of the team. Oregon’s got it all, and we’ve got you covered even if you don’t end up needing to buy or sell where we’re headquartered.
